A tea light is placed under the water-filled spiral of the steamboat – and off it goes, sailing as long as the candle burns.
This clever mechanism is based on a pulsar motor: water heats up, evaporates, and creates a gentle back-and-forth motion that moves the boat forward. The direction can be adjusted by turning the yellow structure, allowing children to guide the boat while playing safely in the bath or other calm waters.
